Role of the Collaborative
• Maintain and manage highly effective, multi-sector collaborative partnerships to address Community Action Plan priorities.
• Demonstrate strong and strategic leadership to address infant mortality
• Plan and implement community level policy, systems and environmental change approaches to advance Collaborative goals.
• Leverage resources and connections in the community to create a sustainability plan.
Read: Keep track of updates on infant mortality through local newspapers, articles, as well as state and national websites on maternal and child health.
Speak: Share what you’ve learned to help others become more aware of the issue.
Write: Send letters to your local elected officials and legislators to enlist support in improving African-American birth outcomes.
Give: Your time and partnership will help ensure the success of the LIHF Collaborative.
Host: Invite Kenosha LIHF members to speak at meetings or events.
Engage: Invite others to attend and participate in the local LIHF Collaborative.
